Communications Policy

LAEI has a growing waiting list and aims to support you as well as others in need. While current
families are of the utmost priority for us, we will be following a process with families who do not
contact us, after repeated contact attempts.

LAEI Process for non-contactable participants:

1. LAEI will contact you by text, phone AND email. We will contact you on 3 separate occasions.

2. If we do not hear from you after 14 days, we will send a letter to you by post, requesting you to
make contact.

3. If you do not contact us within 7 days of this letter being sent, LAEI will determine that you no
longer wish to receive services.

4. Your therapy session time will be allocated to another individual requiring therapy.

5. If you contact us after this time and request services, we will happily add you to the waiting list.

6. LAEI will notify you when a space becomes available for therapy services.

Leaps Ahead Early Intervention acknowledges the muwinina and palawa peoples as the traditional owners and custodians of land, sea, sky and waterways of trowunna/lutruwita (Tasmania).

We pay our respects to elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

We recognise a history of truth which acknowledges the impacts of invasion and colonisation upon Aboriginal people resulting in the forcible removal from their lands.

We stand for a future that profoundly respects and acknowledges Aboriginal perspectives, culture, language and history; and a continued effort to fight for Aboriginal justice and rights paving the way for a strong future.
